The BBC (British Broadcast Corporation) has aired an amazing advertisement for the Olympics that features 3D printing. Extreme by Nature is a 40-second-long trailer in a mixed-media format. The ad utilizes stop-motion animation that brings together 3D printed frames to show the excitement of the Winter Olympics.
The ad was developed by BBC Creative, which is the BBC’s in-house agency. It was directed by Balázs Simon through Blinkink, an animation production company.
The 2022 Winter Olympics convene in Beijing, China, from Feb 4 – 20 with a total of 15 sports.
