Experts on all aspects of battery, electric and hybrid vehicle, and stationary power technologies are invited to submit their proposals to speak at The Battery Show conference, happening September 14-17. Submission deadline is April 3.

The Advisory Board of The Battery Show (TBS) and Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology (EVT) Conference invite presenters to submit speaking proposals for the event, to be held September 14-17, 2020.

We encourage talks that reveal new ways of thinking about and applying battery and E/HV technologies. Real-world examples that show a novel application of technology or illustrate a solution to a technical challenge will be given preference. Of particular interest are emerging electrification markets such as marine, aero, fleet, and off-road.

PRESENTATION FORMATS

WORKSHOPS
Held one day before the expo kicks off, these intensive 3-hour workshops encourage attendees to explore topics in greater depth and breadth, offering a more detailed and interactive learning experience on core subject matter in advanced batteries, electric & hybrid vehicles, and beyond.

BUSINESS LIGHTNING TALKS (15-minute)
These 15-minute sessions provide a rapid-fire presentation on a specific business or manufacturing topic. Individual talks will be combined in a series curated by subject and will be followed by a panel discussion where attendees can engage with the presenters.

TECHNOLOGY LIGHTNING TALKS (20-minute)
These quick, 20-minute presentations will cover recent innovations, research, and findings. Individual talks will each be followed by a brief Q&A and will be grouped together by topic.

TECHNICAL SESSION (45-minute)
Deep technical dives given by one presenter or co-presenters that delve into a new technology and its implications. Sessions should explore multiple aspects of the research or development on a given topic, including a detailed discussion of the trade-offs and choices made. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask in-depth questions after the presentation.

PANEL DISCUSSION (45-minute)
Panel discussions provide an analysis of broad industry trends from a variety of angles. Discussions begin with the moderator providing an overview of the topic and each panelist giving a very short introduction to themselves and their area of expertise. Dialogue between the panelists will be followed by Q&A from the audience.

OPEN TECH FORUM PRESENTATION (25-minute)
Forum presentations are interactive and held in the Open Tech Forum on the Expo floor, open to all event attendees. These sessions will include product teardowns, demos, and discussions of applications or trends.

We look for speakers who are willing to share their knowledge to help design and innovation continue and grow. Proposals that aim to market a specific engineer, company, or product will not be considered.

Proposals must be submitted by April 3, 2020, through the electronic portal.
